Dr. Alyssa Ferrer PT DPT
are licensed Doctors of Physical Therapy in the state of California. They both received their Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA in 2017.
Prior to physical therapy school, Dr. Miron earned his Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification (CSCS) in 2011 and was also a Strength and conditioning intern at Division-1 colleges in New York & New Jersey. He was also spent 2 years as a Crossfit coach for his local boxes in New Jersey.
Dr. Alyssa was a multi-sport varsity athlete in high school for soccer, volleyball, and softball. She also spent time coaching her local club soccer teams.
Miron and his wife Alyssa created Prevention Werx to help athletes and active adults be stay athletic! As sports performance coaches we believe a comprehensive approach is a necessity to reach one's highest athletic potential. Their training philosophy is focused on Athletes and Active adults not only recover fast and successfully from an injury. But to have such resiliency and durability so that they can perform at a high level throughout their lifetime.
Coach Devon CPT, CES
is a Performance Coach here at Prevention Werx. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, I moved to San Diego where I earned my B.S. in Kinesiology Pre-Physical Therapy from SDSU in 2023. He is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), and is currently working on his Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS).
Having worked out since 2016 and training people since 2017, I’ve gathered a great amount of experience at first working as an Intern at Prevention Werx. After being hired as a Coach in 2024, he now has experience working with high school, collegiate and amateur competitive combat sport athletes. He is driven by seeing his clients reach their highest potential!
